- si consigia vivamente i partecipanti a prendere confidenza con le scacchiere recandosi nelle sedi di Spazitalia o di Caissa-SL dove le scacchiere sono a disposizione di tutti.

- per coloro che sono entrati in SL da poco tempo e' consigliabile che giungano nella sede di gioco almeno mezz'ora prima del torneo (o addirittura qualche giorno prima) per imparare le regolazioni elementari della telecamera.

Regole e consigli per il torneo settembre 2008 SL

Il torneo si svolge in 6 turni secondo il sistema svizzero. Il tempo di riflessione individuale è di 15 minuti.

Le prime tre partite saranno giocate giovedì 25 alle ore 21 presso the seat of Caissa SL (Crotone 33, 153, 22), the last three Thursday, Oct. 2.

Ricordo che l'arrocco si esegue cliccando sul Re e poi sulla Torre corrispondente. Per i principianti ricordo che non si può arroccare nei seguenti casi:
1) il Re o la Torre sono già stati mossi (anche se poi sono tornati al loro posto);
2) il Re è sotto scacco o passa in una casa minacciata da un pezzo avversario;
3) tra Re e Torre c'è un pezzo in mezzo.

Per la presa al passaggio bisognerà chiamare l'arbitro che la esegue in quanto la scacchiera non lo fa automaticamente e la scatola dei pezzi è chiusa. Lo stesso vale per la promozone del pedone giunto in ottava.

Giovedì 25 set- tembre alle ore 21 inizia in Second Life il primo torneo italiano se- milampo open di scacchi.
Il torneo utilizza il sistema svizzero e si svolge in 6 partite comples- sive. Il tempo di riflessione è di 15' minuti.
Sono previste due giornate di gioco: giovedì 25 e giovedì ottobre, in ogni giornata verranno giocate tre partite.
Il torneo è aperto a tutte le categorie. Le iscrizioni si chiudono cinque minuti prima dell'inizio del torneo o al raggiungimento del numero massimo di persone consentito dal land.

Poiché si tratta del primo torneo che si svolge in Second Life e nonostante tutta la nostra buona volontà di farlo riuscire bene, potrebbero verificarsi problemi che non siamo in grado di prevedere. In questo caso confidiamo nella comprensione participants.
